It's a four-semester program after pre-requisites are complete. When you graduate from Normandale, you'll earn your Associate of Science (A.S.) degree.
From there, you can take your licensing exam to become a Registered Nurse (RN). Students also completing the MnTC may then earn their BS in Nursing from Minnesota State University – Mankato by completing 30 upper division Nursing credits.
Yes - there is strong interest in Normandale's nursing program, and while a holistic application process is followed, the selection process is competitive. Your application will be ranked based on many factors including your GPA in pre-requisite coursework, composite TEAS score and responses to questions on the application.
