Associate in Applied Science Degree in Radiologic Technology
Radiologic Technology (RADT) is a cooperative program between Fairview-University and Normandale Community College. Thirty-eight credits are earned through general education at Normandale Community College. The pre-requisite courses need to be completed before entering the clinical aspect of the Radiologic Technology Program. The Radiologic Technology Program is 24 months in length after the prerequisite courses have been completed.
You may submit your application to the Radiologic Technology Program (thirty-four credits) while you are taking the pre-requisite courses at Normandale Community College. GPA 2.75 or higher must be achieved for admission to the program. A grade of "C" or higher is required for the prerequisite course work for Radiologic Technology. The prerequisite courses need to be completed before beginning the Radiologic Technology Program. Graduates are awarded a certificate by Fairview and an Associate in Applied Science degree by NCC. Beginning in the fall of 2006 tuition will be charged for each term of registration including Radiologic Technology courses. Books for the clinical courses are approximately $1300 application for the Registry Examination and other professional society fees are about $300.

The Fairview University School of Radiologic Technology prepares graduates for full participation as a member of the health care team. Through cooperation with Normandale Community College and Fairview health care facilities we provide didactic and clinical educational experiences which assist students in understanding and achieving competency in their role as an entry level professional Radiologic Technologist in our diverse urban community.

Application Process
Applicants new to Normandale must complete the Normandale general application form and include the $20 application fee.
