Three community leaders compete for Normandale Foundation Toast of the Town title

Normandale Community College Foundation is embarking upon a fun and unique fundraising campaign dubbed Toast of the Town. The Toast of the Town campaign pits three challengers against each other in a pursuit to determine who can raise the most money by hosting a series of events.
Kick-off rally
The campaign kicked off on September 1 in the Mall of America rotunda with a pep rally announcing the challengers. It will culminate in a grand finale gala on November 19 at 6 p.m. at Normandale Community College where the challenger who raises the most money will be awarded with the title and the coveted Normandale Cup.
Not your typical fundraiser
"The Toast of the Town challenge is a twist on the typical fundraisers many folks have become accustomed to over the years," says Chuck Waletzko, executive director of the Normandale Community College Foundation. "We're hoping that through some good-natured competition and the opportunity to earn some hefty bragging rights that our challengers will help us reach our ultimate goal of supporting the exemplary students and rigorous programs at Normandale Community College."
