Normandale Online Orientation

Welcome to Normandale Community College New Student Orientation

We want to help you make a smooth transition into Normandale by showing you the many programs and services offered by the college and by communicating the expectations that we have of all our students.

This online orientation is the first part in our new student orientation process. You will need to complete part two (assessments) and part three (the on-campus advising & registration program) before you can register for classes. These pages contain information that is critical to you as a new student, and things you will be expected to know when you move on to parts two and three.

Instructions

We expect:
You will do your own work! Your family and friends will not be attending NCC, just you. You need to know the information presented on the following pages. Take your time, Dont rush! You may want to take notes for the quiz at the end of the online orientation or write down questions to ask your counselor when you are on campus for the advising & registration sessions.

Hardware Requirements:

Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6.0 or higher
Netscape version 6.0 or higher, and
Adobe Acrobat Reader

Next Step:
You will need some information from your admission acceptance letter to LOGIN to the online orientation. The orientation has seven sections and each section has multiple pages. We will also ask you to follow links to important websites to view documents or samples. When youve successfully completed the online orientation and the quiz, you will be directed to step two (Assessments) and step three (Advising & Registration).
