Normandale Community College is hosting an Admissions and Financial Aid Completion Workshop to provide opportunities get expert assistance with completing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or MN Dream Act financial application, and to learn more about the North Star Promise Scholarship.
The workshop takes place on Saturday, February 10 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the College Services Area (parking lots off 98th Street).
This year, the FAFSA financial aid application has new information, and Normandale can help provide guidance and answer any questions. There will also be representatives available to answer questions about the North Star Promise.
Starting in fall 2024, Minnesota residents that have a family Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) as reported on the FAFSA or Dream Act application below $80,000 can have a tuition-free path to attend Normandale Community College (along with any Minnesota public education institution or tribal college. There will also be campus tours and opportunities to learn more about Normandale’s excellent academic program offerings. High school students can also attend and explore how to earn college credit through the Post Secondary Enrollment Option (PSEO). All sessions will be offered in English or Spanish.
