The 2025 spring semester will kick off with Welcome Week events that will run from January 13-23.
Welcome Week will start on Monday, January 13 with free hot cocoa as part of a Warm Welcome from the Program Board in College Services from 9 to 11 a.m. There will also be Pizza with the President from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the College Services area by the Corner Café.
On Tuesday, January 14, there will be Supplies and Snacks at the Student Resource Center (Activities Building A 1560) from 1-3 p.m. Snacks will be available as part of Late-Night Bites from 4-5:30 p.m. in College Services by the Corner Cafe.
There will be Yoga from 12-1 p.m. in Science Building S 2330 on Wednesday, January 15. “Norm the Lion” will also be part of a scavenger hunt with Student Senate, which starts the College Services area by the Corner Café. The scavenger hunt runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Welcome Week events for the first week wrap up on Thursday, January 16 with welcome activities in the Kopp Student Center Garden Room with the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and a movie screening of “Join or Die” in the at the Overlook on the second floor of the Kopp Student Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
