After You Graduate

You've Graduated! What's Next?

Stay connected to your campus community as an alum. Here are six ways to engage with Normandale after you’ve earned your diploma.

1. Request a Transcript

You may need to request a transcript if you’re transferring to another college, applying for a job or registering with a state exam board. It's your official proof of your Normandale education. We encourage you to keep a copy for your own records, too.

2. Join the Alumni Association

You're invited to become a member of the Normandale Alumni Association once you’ve graduated. You'll get a monthly e-newsletter filled with information about campus news upon joining. Additionally, you’ll get invitations to special networking and social events.

3. Support Normandale

Consider supporting Normandale through a tax-deductible financial contribution to the Normandale Community College Foundation. You can also give your time as a volunteer. We need both donors and volunteers to join our cause and help future generations of students!

4. Work With Career Services To Find a Job

Career Services has partnered with the Handshake on an online platform. Sign up to search for jobs posted exclusively for Normandale students and alums. Get career and resume advice, build an online portfolio, listen to the careers podcast and more.

5. Visit Campus

Come back often as a member of the community to help support and encourage the current students! You'll always be welcome on campus, whether it’s to attend theatre or musical performances, view a student art show or take a stroll in the Japanese Garden.

6. Follow Us on Social Media

Like the Normandale Facebook page and follow us on our college Instagram account. Be sure to follow Normandale on LinkedIn!

Callistus Ditah smiles.

"I’m someone who believes in forming a strong foundation. I think anything you’re trying to build, your foundation has to be sturdy, and that’s what Normandale was for me."
