Your StarID is your personal username to access most online services at Normandale. Your student email account is your main line of communication with the college.
Every Normandale student is assigned a StarID. It is a unique username used to access eServices, email, D2L, library resources and more.
Each StarID contains 2 letters, 4 numbers, then 2 letters (example: ab1234cd). StarIDs are created during the application process and generated at random. You cannot specify or change your ID.
You will use the same StarID across all Minnesota State systems. Use the Minnesota State StarID self service portal to look up, activate or recover your StarID or password.
Normandale also provides an email account for each student. This account is the college's primary means of communicating with you. We use your student email account to send important info about registration, tuition payments, financial aid and more.
All students should check their email often!
