Registering for classes, payments and billing and everything in between
Spring Add/Drop Deadline is Friday, January 17
The deadline for students to add and drop full-semester courses is January 17 at 11:59 pm. If you need to adjust your schedule, please do so in eServices by this time. After this deadline, any courses will remain on your transcript and you will be financially responsible for any tuition and fees charged.
There are some exceptions. High school students who are attending through the PSEO program will have until January 27 to drop a course. And, for late-start courses, deadlines are different - please check eServices. You can watch this short video to learn how to find deadlines in eServices.
The Advising, Counseling & Career Center and Student Services are available for any related questions this week.
If you add a course late in the week, it’s a good idea to let the instructor know. And, make sure you engage in all courses in D2L by end of day Friday, January 17 to avoid being reported as not attending. Please contact your instructor directly if you are having challenges accessing your course materials. Campus will be closed on Monday, January 20 for the Martin Luther King Jr holiday.
Remember, there are many resources available to you to support your success, including the Campus Cupboard, Tutoring Center, Office for Students with Disabilities, and the Library. Find this information and more at www.normandale.edu/studentresources.
Engage in all courses in D2L by Friday, Jan 17
It is important that all students engage in their courses in D2L by the end of day Friday, January 17. This may include submitting an assignment, participating in a discussion, or making a post. If you add a course late in the week, please contact your instructor if you have any questions about participation in D2L or are having challenges accessing your course materials.
Students who are not actively participating in their course may receive a ‘never attended’ grade which means you are no longer eligible to participate in the class. but are still responsible for tuition and fees. For classes that begin later in the semester, students will need to engage in those courses when they begin.
