The Student Resource Center connects you to campus and community resources and services related to basic needs to help you overcome any barriers in your life that interfere with your academic success. We connect students to resources related to basic needs such as food, housing, transportation, childcare, healthcare, and more.

Hours:
Fall 2024 Hours (until Fri. Dec. 20th): Mondays-Thursdays 10 am-5 pm. If the office is closed during these times visit the Campus Cupboard next door (A 1565) for assistance. Fridays: office closed (phone or email assistance available 8 am-4:30 pm).
Winter Break hours (Mon. Dec. 23rd-Fri. Jan. 10th): In-person office closed. Assistance available Monday-Friday 8 am-4:30 pm via appointment, via phone at (952) 358-9090, or via email at StudentResourceCenter@normandale.edu. Normandale is closed on Wed. Dec. 25th and Wed. Jan. 1st. Over winter break the first floor Activities hallway will be blocked off. To reach the Campus Cupboard use 2nd floor Activities and take the staircase by the Campus Cupboard to reach the 1st floor. Or, come in the Activities entrance doors on the back of campus.
Spring 2025 hours: Monday-Thursdays 10 am-5 pm and Fridays 10 am-4:30 pm.

The Campus Cupboard provides Normandale students with free food and hygiene items.
This Normandale Cares grant provides emergency financial assistance for current students.
While the Student Resource Center can provide resources and recommendations with getting started on a housing search and finding roommates it is the student's responsibility to find and secure housing. Normandale does not provide housing for students.

To the right of that is a bus icon for Transit. This option will show you about how long it takes using public transportation (bus and/or light rail).
If you plan on taking public transportation Normandale offers students a free Metro Transit bus/light rail pass, which offers unlimited Metro Transit rides for Normandale students. To see how accessible a housing option is by Metro Transit bus or light rail you can go to the Metro Transit web page then use the Trip planner to put your starting and ending address (Normandale is: 9700 France Ave. S., Bloomington, MN 55431)
